This site has been inactive for some years. The original aim was to provide information about Hainan as this was difficult to obtain. Now that sites like https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Hainan are able to provide detailed up to date information to travellers, this is no longer required. In the near future this site will be renovated to become a more personal space.

Good news. This site is currently getting a comlete makeover. A visitor centre and park are being constructed. The ugly commercial buildings next to the site have been demolished.
Have published new article on Jiemei Ta (Twin-pagodas) written by Shannon Wilson.
We returned to Adelaide on Wednesday. Still have a lot of material from our Hainan visit to add to the site. Will start work on it after time to settle back in.
